Lifelong boater, longtime marketing expert
For the past three years I was the editor-in-chief and content director at Boating Industry magazine. I helped them boost revenue through a 114% YoY jump in page views, and increase audience engagement by improving the writing and storytelling as well as the use of digital tools such as e-blasts, e-newsletters, podcasts, and videos.
I am passionate about the boating lifestyle and have been around boats most of my life, even spending a year on the sales floor of a towboat dealer turning glass into cash. But boating hasn’t been my only business.
I traveled the world, raced cars in England, and lived and worked in Europe, Hawaii and Canada as a nightclub entertainer. I was a network TV news anchor and entertainment reporter, interviewed nearly every star in Hollywood, as well as did live shots from the red carpet of the Academy Awards. I was the motorsports PR pro for Terry Bradshaw’s NASCAR team, and have been an award-winning business magazine editor, media trainer, professional speaker, corporate PR director, communications consultant and PR agency account manager.

I am also the producer, editor and host of the Insatiably Curious podcast, and Boating Industry Insider as well.
